Church House Westminster’s Funfair Showcase

Bright lights, live beats and velvet seats—what a night!

Last week our very own Kelly (Church House Account Manager) and Sophie (Key Account Manager, Yahire) rolled up their sleeves and rolled into Church House Westminster to help transform the historic Assembly Hall into a full‑blown funfair. 🎉

From Heritage Hall to Carnival Cool

Church House already boasts one of London’s most impressive domed ceilings, but add stilt‑walkers, candy‑stripe booths and a five‑piece band and you’ve got a spectacle worthy of any summer fair. Guests nibbled on gourmet street‑food, sipped technicolour cocktails and tested their luck at classic fairground games—all while a live band kept the energy high.

Our brief? “Make the furniture as playful as the concept.”
So we built each chill‑out zone around three standout pieces:

Grouped together, they turned the vast hall into intimate pockets of fun—easy to mingle, impossible to miss.

Why the Collaboration Worked

  1. On‑site know‑how – Kelly’s first‑hand knowledge of Church House load‑ins (and its famous spiral access ramp) meant our crew were in and out in record time.

  2. One point of contact – Sophie coordinated furniture, linens and last‑minute add‑ons so the venue team could focus on entertainment and F&B.

  3. Sustainable choices – every item is part of our reusable hire range, keeping waste low and style high.

Shout‑Outs 🙌

  • Church House Westminster for trusting us (again!) with their big showcase.

  • Moving Venue for funfair‑inspired bites that disappeared faster than you can say “hook‑a‑duck”.

  • That incredible house band—nothing says summer like a brass‑infused cover of Beyoncé.

Planning Your Own Show‑Stopping Showcase?
