Yahire at Protein Studios Café: Furniture That Fits the Space

There’s something very satisfying about seeing Yahire furniture out in the wild, not just at one-night events, but in spaces people use, enjoy and settle into every day.

Recently, we had the pleasure of providing furniture for the Protein Studios Café, helping shape a relaxed, stylish and functional space that feels right at home in its creative London setting.

A Café with Character

Protein Studios has always had that brilliant East London energy, industrial details, big windows, warm textures and a real sense of community. The café space has the same feel: bright, welcoming and effortlessly cool without trying too hard.

For us, the furniture needed to work with that atmosphere rather than overpower it. It had to be practical enough for everyday use, comfortable enough for coffee catch-ups, and stylish enough to sit naturally within such a design-led venue.

The Yahire Pieces in the Mix

The setup brought together a selection of pieces that balance warmth, texture and function.

Our Bodrum Pallet Coffee Tables and Bodrum Side Tables add that relaxed, rustic edge, perfect against the raw brick, timber finishes and industrial windows. They bring a little character without making the space feel too styled or formal.

The Square Scaffold Poseur Tables give the café some height and structure, ideal for quick coffees, laptop moments or casual chats between meetings. Paired with Black Bistro Bar Stools, they create a really easy, social setup that works wellin a busy creative space.

We also love how the Brown Oslo Chairs sit within the room. They soften the industrial look while keeping things clean and contemporary. They’re simple, comfortable and warm-toned, exactly the kind of seating that makes a café feel more inviting.

Designed for Real Use

The best café furniture doesn’t just look good in photos. It has to work hard.

People need to move through the space easily, pull up a chair, put down a coffee, have a meeting, answer an email, or take five minutes between events. That’s why every piece was chosen with flow and flexibility in mind.

There’s room for guests to settle in, but the layout still feels open. There are casual lounge-style touches, but also practical table setups. It feels considered, without feeling staged, which is often the sweet spot.

A Natural Fit for Protein Studios

Protein Studios is known for hosting creative events, brand moments and industry gatherings, so it makes sense that the café reflects that same energy. It’s not just somewhere to grab a drink, it’s a space for conversations, planning, ideas and quick catch-ups before the next thing.

Seeing our furniture in that environment is exactly what we love. It shows how event hire pieces can do more than support a one-off setup, they can help shape everyday spaces too.

More Than Event Furniture

While Yahire is best known for event furniture hire across London, projects like this show how versatile our stock can be. Whether it’s a café, venue breakout area, VIP lounge, exhibition stand or networking zone, the right combination of furniture can completely change how a space feels.

For Protein Studios Café, the look is relaxed, practical and full of character, and we’re very happy to have played a part in it.

So, next time you’re there for a coffee, a meeting or an event, keep an eye out for a few familiar Yahire pieces.

They look pretty good with a latte.
